Incluye detalles tales como el de por qué la hormiga tiene la cintura tan chiquita y por qué el tallo de la milpa tiene nudos. El cuento fue transcrito por Howard Law entre los años de 1946 y 1949.
This folk story in the Nahuatl (Aztec) language of Mecayapan and Tatahuicapan, Veracruz, Mexico tells about the origin of corn. It includes such details as why the ant has a narrow waist and why corn has joints. The story was first transcribed by Howard Law between 1946 and 1949.
