SIL International Publications

Submission Guidelines

The majority of the work we publish is by our staff in the course of their fieldwork. Works created by authors outside our organization maybe considered for publication. SIL's primary focus is endangered and underrepresented languages, and the books we publish are in areas of study related to our work. If you believe you have a submission that would fit into our area of study, please review the submission guidelines below. SIL International Publications does not pay royalties.

Each series* has similar requirements and guidelines for submissions. These requirements and guidelines are aggregated in this section, with links to the required documents.

Our formally published series (distributed globally) are as follows:

We also publish several categories:

Our Read Online series*, available to download for personal use, are as follows:

Each of these series has its own selection of documents to complete, which are then submitted to the Editor of that series or to the GPS Acquisitions Manager: GPSAcquisitions_intl@sil.org.

*NOTE: Not all series are accepting submissions
